Tracy & Dan’s Custom Armory Wedding

Tracy and Dan’s floral-filled wedding reception took place at the magnificent 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia, where the 4 story ceilings, brick walls, large windows, and open floor plan allow for endless possibilities with regards to design. The newly married couple wanted to take full advantage of the ceiling height, installing both floral decor and our bistro lighting overhead, creating a soft, romantic atmosphere perfectly appropriate for a wedding celebration.

Their simplistic lighting design incorporated a few of our staple services, along with custom design elements that were added with the venue’s unique architecture in mind. We washed the walls with a light candlelight amber tone using our par uplighting fixtures, lit the dance floor and dining tables with lekos, illuminated all of the floral décor with our magnetic LED pin spot fixtures, and we strung 1,000 linear feet of our bistro lighting across the width of the room.

Keeping the guests on their feet was our very own Resident DJ Dave Stocklos, who opened up the dance floor with the couple’s first dance song: “Life” by Josh Rouse. Guests danced all night to a mix of 90s dance, top 40, hip hop, disco, and classic rock, ending the celebrations with Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic.”
